Smokey eyes have a feeling of power 

And I really love to get that. When it comes to making up a signature look, it's my go to smokey eyes. Of course, for the smokey eye, the right opportunity and technique are very important. You can't just wear a heavy black smokey eye on a wedding (unless it's a goth-themed wedding like 27 Dresses wedding).  For everything, there's a time and place. I remember I had my hands on a black eyeshadow back in high school. During the day I not only worn it heavily, but I did n't even blend it! Needless to say, I looked like a black - eyed homeless person. In the beginning, smokey eyes are very tricky. Not knowing the right techniques can end in a disaster while applying it. 

Lucky for you, I've been a walking disaster already and learned from my mistakes, and I'm here to tell you how to avoid them! 

Top 13 Smokey Eye Makeup tutorials(Step-By-Step)

1. Tutorial for Black Smokey Eye Making 

                                

You're going to need 

• Primer 
• Concealer
• Black Eyeshadow
• Black liner
• Mascara
• Eyeshadow brushes

How to Apply eye makeup for Black Smokey? 

Step 1: You should start with a clean base at all times. Applying a primer allows the makeup to stay longer and makes mixing the eyeshadows easier. Use a concealer for any discoloration under the eyes and on the eyelids. 

Step 2: Pack the outer corner and into the crease on black eyeshadow. 

Step 3: Blend the eyeshadow out, so no harsh lines exist. 

Step 4: You can pack more color if you feel it needs more intensity. 

Step 5: Apply a gel or pencil liner to the lashline as close as possible. 

Step 6: Smudge it out and mix with the existing shadow of the black eye. 

Step 7: You can even take the eyeliner in the crease and deepen it if you want to create an intense look. Make sure it mixes well. 

Step 8: Take under the eyes the liner. 

Step 9: To create the smokey effect, smoke it out. 

Step 10: It's time for the touches to finish. Apply your favorite mascara volumizing, and it's nice to go!

You're going to need 

• Primer 
• Black liner
• Gold eyeshadow (textures of cream and powder) 
• Shadow of dark brown eyes 
• Concealer
• Fake lashes
• Mascara
• Eyeshadow brushes

How to Apply eye makeup for Gold Smokey? 
Step 1: Prepare, squeeze and hide the eyelids. Use the eyeshadow base of a cream gold. By adding the powder eyeshadow, this will make the gold pop out more. 

Step 2: Pack the eyeshadow of gold and mix. 

Step 3: Take a dark brown eyeshadow and apply it to the outside corner to create depth. 

Step 4: Continue to apply the gold in the middle of the lid and the brown in the outer corner until you are satisfied with the intensity. 

Step 5: Apply the lower lashline with the gold eyeshadow. Follow up on the lower water line with black liner. 

Step 6: Apply Use the upper lash line with eyeliner and flick it out. 

Step 7: Apply fake lashes to complete the look and finish with mascara.

How to Make Purple Smokey Eye? 
Step 1: Start with the starting base color with a lilac shimmering eyeshadow. 

Step 2: Pack some black to the outside corner and blend it out to avoid harsh lines. 

Step 3: To create a smooth transition between the lilac and the black, use a slightly darker shade of purple in the middle of the eyelid. That goes without saying, but mix together to make it look flawless. 

Step 4: Find a pink peachy shade and apply a fluffy blush over the crease. This creates a natural gradient for it. 

Step 5: To give it that smokey effect, apply kohl or eyeliner to the lower lash line and smudge it out. 

Step 6: To give your lashes a fuller look, straighten your upper water line.

You're going to need 

• Primer
• Concealer
• Nude eyeliner
• Mascara
• Bronze eyeshadow
• Gold eyeliner or eyeshadow
• Dark brown eyeshadow

How to Apply Smokey Eye Makeup for Bronze? 
Step 1: Start all over the eyelid with a bronze eyeshadow. 

Step 2: Take some eyeshadow of the same bronze and run it through your lower line of lash. 

Step 3: Creating a smudged outline as close as you can to the lash line using a dark brown eyeshadow and a liner brush. 

Step 4: Do the same for the lower line of lash. 

Step 5: To get the desired intensity, apply some more bronze eyeshadow. 

Step 6: Run it along the lower lash line using a nude eye pencil to create the look of brighter eyes. 

Step 7: Mix any harsh lines and add eyeshadow where necessary.

• Primer
• Concealer
• Mascara
• Black eyeliner
• Fake lashes
• Silver eyeshadow

How to Make Blue Smokey Eye? 
Step 1: Apply a thick eyeliner coat on a freshly concealed and primed eyelid. This will serve as the smokey's initial basis. 

Step 2: To make sure there are no harsh lines, smooth it out into the crease and a little above it. 

Step 3: It's time to get the blue in! Use either a blue - eye pencil, kohl, or a pigmented shadow of the eye. Use it on the eyelid. 

Step 4: Blend it well, but don't cross the previously created black base. Simply make it a smooth transition. 

Step 5: Also run the blue to the lower lash line and smudge it out to bring the smokey look together.

You're going to need 

• Primer
• Tape
• Mascara
• Concealer
• Black eyeliner
• Pink/Cranberry eyeshadow

How to Make Pink Smokey Eye? 
Step 1: There's no surprise, but start with a clean base. Follow your lower lash line toplace's natural shape strategically with a piece of tape. 

Step 2: Now, to wash over the eyelids, use a metallic pink — a cranberry shade, if you like. Take what's left lightly under your eyes on the brush as well. 

Step 3: Apply a black liner near the top of the lash line and thicken it as you move to the outside corner. 

Step 4: Smudge well and mix in the pink eyeshadow. Run along the lower lash line some of the eyeliner as well. 

Step 5: Remove the tape and smooth the hard line out. 

Step 6: Use a shimmering rose gold eye shadow in the middle of the eyelids to give it some size and make it pop. 

Step 7: Apply mascara and it's good for you to go!

8. Tutorial for Green Smokey Eye Making 

You're going to need 

• Primer
• Concealer
• Mascara
• Gold eyeshadow
• Black gel eyeliner
• Gold-brown eyeshadow
• Shimmery black eyeshadow

How to Make Green Smokey Eye? 
Step 1: Prepare the eyelids by priming and applying concealer and filling in the eyebrows. The whole smokey look is brought together by a strong brow game. 

Step 2: Use the upper and lower lashline generously with black liner. Apply more to the upper lash line, to the lid as this is going to be the smokey base. 

Step 3: Smudge it out and mix it together well. 

Step 4: Apply to the crease and above the crease an emerald green eyeshadow. Mix it with a smooth brush to make the lines smooth. Also apply the green to the bottom lash line. 

Step 5: To apply above the crease, use a brown shade with yellow - golden undertones. This makes the transition from your skin to the smokey an excellent shade. 

Step 6: Adding more black intensity to the center of the eyelid. Use a product based on gel because it's extremely dark. It would be a gel eyeliner. 

Step 7: Set a shimmering black eyeshadow black gel. 

Step 8: Take this eyeshadow under your eyes so that it's all in place. 

Step 9: Apply some shimmering gold eyeshadow as a highlight to the inner corners. 

Step 10: To complete this beautiful green smokey, use an intense black mascara and false lashes (optional).

10. Tutorial for Pink and Grey Smokey Eye Making 

You're going to need 

• Primer
• Mascara
• Concealer
• False lashes
• Pink eyeshadow
• Black liquid liner

How to Make Pink and Grey Smokey Eye? 
Step 1: Apply a dark brown shade of eyeshadow to the outside corner and into the crease on freshly primed and concealed eyelids. Mix it well. 

Step 2: Use a pink shadow of the eye and apply it to the eyelid. However, leave the eyelid plain center.
